[ Asia Economy ] The group BOYNEXTDOOR will release their mini 5th album ‘The Action’ according to an announcement by HYBE Labels’ KOZ Entertainment on the 20th.
BOYNEXTDOOR will unveil the new album’s songs and the music video for the title track ‘Hollywood Action’ at 6 PM that day. This album conveys a message of determination toward growth and becoming ‘a better me’.
The lyrics, written by the members themselves, portray the artistic struggles (‘Live In Paris’), musical exchanges with friends (‘JAM!’), confusion in romantic relationships (‘Bathroom’), and the moment of breaking up (‘있잖아’) through songs of varying atmospheres.
The title song ‘Hollywood Action’ includes contributions from Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Woonhak, and Lee Han, showcasing a bold and confident attitude. It’s an upbeat track based on swing rhythms and brass sounds, featuring candid lyrics and the members’ energy. Choreographer Bada participated in the performance.
BOYNEXTDOOR will hold a comeback showcase at 8 PM at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and appear on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 23rd.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR achieved million-seller status with their mini 3rd album ‘19.99’ and mini 4th album ‘No Genre’. They entered the US Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ with all their mini albums and completed their first solo tour across three cities with 23 shows, later performing at ‘Lollapalooza Chicago’.
