ASTRO’s Jinjin concludes his 1 year and 5 months journey as the DJ of ‘Idol Korean Language’ today (28th).

[Seoul=RNX News] Hyun Jaehoon 기자 = Group ASTRO (Fantagio affiliated) member JinJin ends his journey as the DJ for ‘Idol Korean’.

JinJin will say a bittersweet goodbye as a DJ with the final broadcast of EBS FM’s ‘Idol Korean’ at 4 PM on the 28th.

Ahead of his last broadcast, JinJin expressed gratitude via his agency Fantagio, saying, “Thanks to the production team and guests, I learned warmth and life lessons. This was my first radio as a DJ where I received so much, and it’s a bit sad but feels like I’m graduating.”

He added, “I regret not doing better, but it seems I was more sincere than anyone. I will step down with good feelings for the next DJ, and I hope everyone continues to love ‘Idol Korean’ without forgetting it. Thank you very much and I love you all, Hangongies.” 

JinJin has been active as the first regular DJ on ‘Idol Korean’ for about 1 year and 5 months since October 2, 2023.

His calm voice tone and stable hosting skills, as well as the honesty and kindness that matched his nickname ‘Jindi’, garnered great love from listeners.
