Stallion, Doyu’s agency, announced on the 30th (today) that “Actor Doyu will make her first appearance in the 4th episode of MBN’s Wednesday-Thursday miniseries ‘First Lady’.”
MBN’s Wednesday-Thursday miniseries ‘First Lady’ (written by Kim Hyung-wan/ directed by Lee Ho-hyun/ produced by Studio Gdam Co., Ltd., Artist Studio Co., Ltd., and Road Show Plus Co., Ltd.) is a drama that unfolds as a husband, elected as president, asks his wife, who is destined to become the First Lady, for a divorce, resulting in an unprecedented situation.
Doyu takes on the role of Cha Jeong-yeon, the chairman of the Ha Sung Foundation, known for her misguided resentment. Cha Jeong-yeon is the half-sister of Cha Soo-yeon (played by Yoo-jin) and was notorious for various incidents involving drunk driving, assault, and gambling.
She was set to inherit her father’s district, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she loses everything. Doyu is expected to heighten the drama’s tension through her role as the opportunistic Cha Jeong-yeon, filled with resentment and twisted guilt.
