Ko Young-bae, the vocalist of the band Soran, met with readers to commemorate the publication of the essay ‘A Thought on What Happiness Is’ re-cover version.
On the 12th, Ko Young-bae held an event to meet with readers through ‘Bora Show’ at Kyobo Book Centre’s Gwanghwamun branch Daesan Hall.
This event was organized to commemorate the publication of the re-cover version of Ko Young-bae’s essay ‘A Thought on What Happiness Is’ published last September, and it concluded successfully with popular YouTuber Seung-guk Lee hosting.
Ko Young-bae opened the event by passionately singing hit songs such as ‘Study You’, ‘We, Travel’, and the newly released song ‘Voice’ from last year’s end.

In the ensuing talk session, Ko Young-bae revealed the behind-the-scenes of the creation of the re-cover version and separate appendix ‘Publication, After That’, followed by a Q&A with readers and a signing event, allowing him to meet fans closely.
Ko Young-bae expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m thankful that I can connect more deeply with fans through music and books,” and showed his determination, saying, “I will continue to work hard as a musician who sings about everyday happiness.”
The essay ‘A Thought on What Happiness Is’ is a warm-hearted book where Ko Young-bae discusses the happiness of everyday life as a source of confidence, covering topics like his dreams, beloved family, and music. Meanwhile, Soran, the band Ko Young-bae is part of, will hold a winter concert ‘Be My Light’ on the 18th and 19th at Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
