In the interview, Song Joong-ki recalled the drama ‘Vincenzo’ and said he found great interest in expressing the character’s complex charms. He then recalled the filming of the movie ‘Bogotá’ and discussed the process of adapting to a new language and culture. The movie tells the story of a young man who emigrated to Colombia during the IMF era, and Song Joong-ki shared his efforts by saying, “I immersed myself in the character by personally studying Spanish lines.” He also expressed gratitude regarding the pandemic-related production delays by stating, “Amid fears that the film could be canceled, all the production staff did their best until the end.”
