Ha Jung-woo’s new film ‘Broken’ has unveiled its first details. On the 26th, distributor Barunson E&A released the teaser poster and trailer for the movie ‘Broken’.
‘Broken’ portrays Mintae’s furious pursuit to uncover the truth of the night when everything got entangled, from his brother who returned as a corpse and his wife who disappeared, to a bestselling novel that foresaw the incident. The newly released teaser poster depicts a man beginning a vengeful chase to reveal the truth behind his brother’s death.
With a tagline saying “Chasing the start of the night when my brother died,” Mintae (Ha Jung-woo) appears urgently moving towards somewhere, delivering heavy tension. Another poster shows Mintae gripping a pipe tightly.
The tagline added to this, “Chasing the end of the night when my brother died,” amplifies curiosity about his final destination as he relentlessly tracks everyone involved in his brother’s death.

The simultaneously released teaser trailer shows Mintae’s emotions as he runs, filled with rage.
One night, a desperate voicemail from his brother arrives, and Mintae sets out to find his traces, but soon his brother Seok-tae (Park Jong-hwan) returns as a corpse.
When even his brother’s woman Moon-young (Yoo Da-in) disappears, Mintae senses there’s hidden truth behind his brother’s death.
As the best-selling novel author Horeum (Kim Nam-gil), who foresaw the brother’s death, makes an appearance, the confusion deepens. The former boss of the organization he was once involved with, Chang-mo (Jung Man-sik), is also revealed to be intertwined with his brother’s death, creating suffocating tension.
