Song Hye-kyo successfully transformed her acting with the Netflix series ‘The Glory’ in 2022 and 2023. She said, “After acting in a genre like ‘The Glory’, I found new roles interesting and looked at scripts and scenarios in that direction,” explaining that this led her to ‘Dark Nuns’.
She had the expectation of seeing another side of herself through acting in this project. In the drama, Song Hye-kyo plays Sister Yunia, an unstoppable nun willing to do anything to save a boy possessed by evil spirits. Meanwhile, ‘Dark Nuns’ tells the story of people who engage in forbidden rituals to save a boy trapped by a powerful evil spirit.
