Kim Taehun (36), formerly of the group ZE:A, revealed his work as a taxi driver.
On the YouTube channel ‘Next Taehun’, a video titled ‘ZE:A Taehun “Mental breakdown from first drunk passenger… Why sudden informal speech?”/ A peaceful night drive… The shocking reason for turning on the red roof light after 5 hours’ was uploaded on the 18th.
The video showed Kim Taehun working as a late-night taxi driver.
In the video, he commented, “It’s the second day of driving a taxi,” and revealed his driving goal by saying, “On the first day, I felt it’s a waste of time to eat. Today’s goal is 300,000 won,” and he packed kimbap and energy bars before going to work.
Kim Taehun engaged in light banter with passengers as he traveled around different areas in Seoul.
Especially with a male passenger who seemed to be of a similar age, he laughed and said, “It’s been 16 years since ZE:A activities,” and “I think I was the most successful after Kwanghee and Park Hyungsik.”
His earnings after about 3 hours of driving were 63,400 won. Kim Taehun mentioned as a night driving advantage, “The roads aren’t congested, so it’s comfortable.”

However, not all the rides were smooth. In the latter part of the video, a situation where an inebriated passenger boarded, spoke informally or fell asleep, then requested a different destination upon waking, was shown.
After dropping off the passenger, Kim Taehun said, “It hurt my heart a bit when overly drunk passengers got on,” but added, “I think these experiences also contribute to growth.”
Kim Taehun debuted with the group ZE:A in 2010. He promoted songs like ‘Mazeltov’, ‘Aftermath’. Since the expiration of their exclusive contract in 2017, the members have moved to different agencies, effectively pausing their activities.
In 2023, Kim Taehun openly shared his financial struggles, garnering attention by revealing his attempts at various jobs such as warehouse part-time work and running a Chinese restaurant.
