[Seoul=RNX News] By Hyun Jae-hoon = Singer Choi Yena (YENA)’s new song release date, which she worked on with global virtual singer Hatsune Miku, has been confirmed.
On the 20th, YH Entertainment announced, “Choi Yena’s new Japanese digital single ‘STAR! (feat. Hatsune Miku)’ will be released on the 26th at midnight on global music platforms.”
‘STAR!’ is Choi Yena’s new Japanese song which is released about 1 year and 9 months after her second single ‘DNA’ in February last year. Global virtual singer Hatsune Miku participated as a featuring artist, drawing great interest from local fans even before the release.
Choi Yena recently pre-released her new song during ‘2025 THE YENA SHOW ＜I am STAR!＞’ held in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, receiving explosive responses from fans.
The music video teaser for ‘STAR! (feat. Hatsune Miku)’, released on the 19th, unveiled a part of the bright and unique ‘Yena Core’ trademark hybrid pop sound, further increasing anticipation.
Additionally, with the release of the jacket photo showing Choi Yena and Hatsune Miku in the same pose, there has been attention on the synergy between the two artists. The visual of Hatsune Miku in this jacket was completed with the work of illustrator Omutatsu.
