Comedian Lee Kyung-sil criticized Jo Se-ho’s extravagant wedding.

On the 15th, tvN’s entertainment program ‘You Quiz on the Block’ featured notable figures in comedy ‘Aunt Line’ Lee Kyung-sil and Jo Hye-ryun, who had a delightful talk with Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho. The episode was full of laughter from the start. When Jo Hye-ryun said, “I got a call for a solo guest spot on You Quiz, but it turned out to be with Lee Kyung-sil. They said solo isn’t possible yet,” Lee Kyung-sil jokingly responded, “That’s reality.”

As the conversation deepened, Lee Kyung-sil directed a candid remark towards Jo Se-ho. She mentioned, “So, do you meet that many people?” referencing Jo Se-ho’s recent buzz-worthy wedding. She continued, “I’ve never seen a wedding with so many people. In life, you don’t really need that many people,” she said firmly.

Just as Lee Kyung-sil noted, Jo Se-ho’s wedding was truly termed ‘the largest in the entertainment industry’. Around 900 guests attended, with various figures from diverse sectors present, earning it the nickname ‘queue-line wedding’. There were even reports that the congratulatory gift line extended outside the venue.

Lee Kyung-sil expressed surprise, saying, “The group photo was divided into five parts: comedian, singer, talent, businessman, and production crew parts.” She added, “Indeed. From my experience, that’s how it goes,” bringing laughter to the studio.

Jo Hye-ryun, who appeared together, shared Lee Kyung-sil’s warm side. She mentioned, “While considering a divorce in the past and being hospitalized for hemorrhoid surgery, Lee Kyung-sil visited and gave me heartfelt advice,” expressing gratitude. Yoo Jae-suk added, “Lee Kyung-sil never overlooks a junior or colleague’s affairs. She has many commendable stories, but strangely, they don’t spread well.” Yet, in his characteristic humor, he said, “I can’t recall any right now,” adding more laughter.

Lee Kyung-sil mentioned, “Nowadays, I find myself watching the juniors’ eyes,” referring to the changes over time. When Jo Hye-ryun retorted, asking if it was a curse, Yoo Jae-suk responded, “You’ll experience it soon too,” turning the scene into a sea of laughter.

The episode resonated with viewers through Lee Kyung-sil’s witty remarks and life-penetrating words. Her reality advice, “You don’t need many people, just the ones that truly matter,” echoed strongly even in entertainment.
