Broadcaster Han Seok-joon, a former announcer, revealed that he suddenly collapsed at home and was rushed to the emergency room.
On the 30th, Han Seok-joon posted on his social media (SNS), starting his post with “Grateful for the day called today.”
He shared, “I suddenly collapsed at home last week with memory blackouts,” adding, “When my wife woke me up, I couldn’t tell if I had woken from sleep or returned from death.”
He continued, “Blood was everywhere and I couldn’t speak properly,” explaining, “I was rushed to the emergency room, had a brain scan, and received treatment for lacerations.”
He reflected, “I feel much better now, but thinking back, it was terrifying,” adding, “If my wife hadn’t been there, if I had been alone, if even one of the many ‘if’s had been different, this moment would not exist.”
He further added, “So, I am so grateful for this very moment of breathing today,” expressing gratitude to his seniors, juniors, and colleagues who filled in during his sudden absence.
Han Seok-joon said, “I attended a lecture with bandages wrapped around my head,” adding, “I thank everyone who showed concern and left words of gratitude to all those who worried about me.”
