[ Asia Economy ] A K-pop singer’s concert in the U.S. was canceled after the audience had already entered.

Singer Kang Daniel abruptly canceled his concert ‘Act: New Episode’ in New Jersey on the 6th (local time), even after the audience had been admitted. It is reported that he personally went on stage to express his apologies.

The agency Aira stated on the 7th, “We sincerely bow our heads to apologize for delivering such sudden news to the fans who came to the venue eagerly anticipating today’s concert.”

Aira explained, “While both the artist and the company did their utmost for the New Jersey City concert, it was judged difficult to provide a safe and high-quality stage due to local system inadequacies and unforeseen operational issues.”

They further stated, “We discussed with the local side until the last minute, but pushing ahead in an incomplete environment could be a greater discourtesy to the fans, so we regrettably decided to cancel.” The tickets will be refunded in full automatically without any separate request.

Kang Daniel is currently conducting tours in 12 major U.S. cities, including Washington and New York, and he is scheduled to continue performances in South America, including Argentina and Brazil.
