[ Asia Economic ] It has been revealed that broadcaster Yoon Jung-soo’s wife, who recently announced his ‘late marriage’, is Woo Ja-Hyun, a former sports reporter.
According to multiple media reports on the 2nd, Yoon Jung-soo’s wife, who is 12 years younger and whom he registered marriage with last month, is sports reporter Woo Ja-Hyun.
Woo Ja-Hyun has been active in various fields such as KBS reporter, Weather News global weather jockey, and traffic caster, and worked as a sports reporter at MBC in 2010. She was especially noticed during the Guangzhou Asian Games, being called the ‘Goddess of Guangzhou’. She has also hosted several programs as an MC, including MBC’s ‘Sports Highlight’, XTM’s ‘Men’s Empathy Ranking Show M16’, Hand Palm TV’s ‘Woo Ja-Hyun’s Morning Show’, and The M’s ‘Woo Ja-Hyun’s Bundesliga Show’.
She later transitioned to a fitness model and took second place in both the model women’s short category and Miz Bikini category at the Muscle Mania Fitness World Competition in 2015. Since 2017, she has been active as a Pilates instructor.
Earlier, in a broadcast in July, Yoon Jung-soo revealed that he was dating someone with the intention of marriage. Last month, he announced on his YouTube channel that they had completed their marriage registration and became a legal couple.
In the preview of TV Chosun’s ‘Lovers of Joseon’ aired on the 1st, Yoon Jung-soo was seen hinting at his wife’s identity to his close friends Bae Gi-sung and Lim Hyung-jun. After hearing about his wife, they commented, “It’s someone everyone knows”, which drew attention to his wife’s identity.
