Today (19th), Jadam Media, a company specializing in webtoon and novel IP, announced, “Recently, we signed a contract to dramatize ‘The Losing Side Becomes First Lady’, which is serialized every Thursday on Naver Webtoon, in collaboration with film and drama production company Cross Pictures.”
This work has been recognized for its potential to be visualized early on with a unique and intense logline that can captivate viewers beyond domestic borders to global audiences.
‘The Losing Side Becomes First Lady’ is the story of a parliamentary couple, Gwak Hyun-woo (conservative) and Jo Jae-ryoung (progressive). With political inclinations and lifestyles at extreme ends, they are the closest and yet farthest couple in the world.
However, due to a huge bribery scandal that erupts ahead of the 21st presidential election, they stand before the nation not as husband and wife but as ‘competing presidential candidates’.
