
[Seoul=RNX News] Hyun-june Hyeon = The voting for the popularity award of the ‘2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS’, which stands at the forefront of ‘K-Culture Powerhouse’, has ended.
According to the organizing committee of the ‘2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS’ on the 19th, the group Stray Kids ranked first in the final ‘K-World Dream Male Group Popularity Award’ voting, which ended on the 11th.
The female group popularity award went to the group Younice, and the male solo popularity award and female solo popularity award trophies went to singer Park Ji-hyun and group IVE’s Jang Won-young, respectively.
The Blue Carpet event was also announced. The Blue Carpet is a special event held before the main performance of the ‘2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS’, where superstars leading the K-pop Hallyu wave in the global market will gather to share their thoughts on participation.
The organizing committee also announced the selection of singer and entertainer Tanaka and model and actress Hwang In-hye as Blue Carpet MCs that day.
Tanaka, from Kabukicho, Tokyo, Japan, who came to Korea dreaming of debuting as a rocker, is gaining popularity with his unique fashion and hairstyle, and his witty and straightforward speaking style.
With hit songs like ‘Wasurenaide’ and ‘Goodnight, Lady’, he is forming a fandom not only in Korea but also in Japan, playing a bridging role in Korea-Japan cultural communication.
Hwang In-hye will be responsible for the Blue Carpet for the fourth consecutive year following the ‘2022 K Global Heart Dream Awards’. As a Miss Korea actress, she is an all-around entertainer active in various fields such as acting, modeling, and MCing, showcasing her diverse talents.
Additionally, she is leading various social contribution activities as an executive of the Miss Korea group, Mikoleaders.
The ‘2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS’, held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 21st, is the largest Hallyu K-pop festival held in Seoul, the center of the ‘K-Culture Powerhouse’.
Earlier, the organizing committee announced the selection of former announcer and broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo and comedian Jang Do-yeon as MCs, capturing the attention of global K-pop fans. Actors Kang Yoo-seok, Goh Bo-gyeol, Ryu Kyung-soo, Moon Ga-young, Byun Woo-seok, Shin Ji-yeon, Im Soo-hyang, and Jung Yu-mi will take part as award presenters.

K-pop artists who are showcasing the essence of the ‘K-Culture Powerhouse’ will make appearances in large numbers. Groups BTOB, Stray Kids, Tomorrow X Together, Cravity, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, TripleS, YoungPosse, Fifty Fifty, NCT Wish, and I-Lit,
KICKFLIP, Hearts to Hearts, Kiki, Newbeat, Nine, as well as bands Lucy, Xdinary Heroes, QWER, Dragon Pony, singers Park Seo-jin and Park Ji-hyun, Paul Kim, Kang Daniel have been named in the lineup.
The ‘2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS’ organizing committee has also prepared a live broadcast channel for K-pop fans who cannot be present at the awards ceremony.
The event will be broadcast live via the Japanese OTT platform U-NEXT, and K-pop fans worldwide, except Japan, can meet the live broadcast screen through HelloLive.
