Actress Lim Ji-yeon shared the story behind the dress that caught attention at the ‘Baeksang Arts Awards’.
In the 11th episode of tvN’s ‘Sister’s Runway 2’, which aired on the 22nd, Lim Ji-yeon and Lee Jae-wook embarked on a journey to Dolsan Island in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do. The two, appearing against the backdrop of the blue sea, were delighted to reunite after a long time, and Lee Jae-wook praised Lim Ji-yeon, saying, “You looked really beautiful at the Baeksang. The red dress suited you so well.” Lim Ji-yeon shyly laughed and confessed, “I refrained from eating for three days for that day. Fortunately, Baeksang was after Sanji, not before, so I could eat to my heart’s content.”
As they prepared a meal at a restaurant, Lim Ji-yeon asked Lee Jae-wook, “You’ve lost weight. Are you in actor mode?” Lee Jae-wook playfully replied, “No, I didn’t manage it at all this time. I’m appearing as a beggar.” In response, Lim Ji-yeon said, “I think our faces suit the beggar role well. When I played Gudok, I matched so well with the slave role,” eliciting laughter. Lee Jae-wook also agreed, “I didn’t know either, but I really do suit it well.”
The two seem to often hear that they resemble each other. In the broadcast, Yum Jung-ah looked between Lee Jae-wook and Lim Ji-yeon and remarked, “You look like real siblings,” astonished, to which Lee Jae-wook joked, “You resemble my mother’s daughter more,” making the atmosphere even warmer. Lim Ji-yeon dressed up in the outfit she prepared for the last day, only to accidentally wear the same style of denim fashion as Lee Jae-wook, surprising both of them.
