
[ Asia Economy ] Nah Sang-hyun, the vocalist of the indie band Nah Sang-hyun Band, apologized for allegations of inappropriate physical contact during a past drinking party.
On the 23rd, Nah Sang-hyun conveyed through his social media (SNS), “I apologize to anyone who felt discomfort or inconvenience due to my past behavior.”
Recently, posts have been spreading on SNS and online communities that Nah Sang-hyun made inappropriate physical contact with a female companion during a past drinking session. The author of the post claimed, “When a woman was sitting next to him at a drinking party, he repeatedly touched her thigh or left his hand as it was if she was intoxicated.”
Regarding this, Nah Sang-hyun stated, “I am in a situation where I cannot remember the specific circumstances after drinking and caused harm,” and expressed, “I deeply regret not apologizing directly at that time and wish to apologize personally now.” He also added, “I was reprimanded for my words and actions in a drunken state 3-4 years ago and have made efforts to improve since then.”
Nah Sang-hyun is the vocalist and guitarist of Nah Sang-hyun Band, which was formed by members he met in a composition club at Seoul National University and debuted in 2015.
