Model Heeya, a former Miss Maxim, showcased a unique concept photo shoot in the June issue of the men’s magazine Maxim (MAXIM), transforming into a small shop owner.
This photo shoot, set against the background of a ‘small shop,’ captures a natural and dewy atmosphere, distinct from Heeya’s previous image of a sturdy and healthy intense sexiness. Industry insiders evaluated that this concept effectively highlighted a new charm of Heeya.
“I was even more excited as it was a rare concept to shoot a solo photo for Maxim,” Heeya revealed.
She added, “I prepared diligently as the star of the photo shoot as much as I was deeply pleased with the proposal.”
It was reported that the rainy weather on the day of the shoot further enhanced the atmosphere of the photo shoot.
Heeya explained, “I was a bit worried that my makeup might be ruined because of the rain on the much-awaited shooting day, but on the contrary, the weather seemed to complement the concept of the photo shoot well,” adding, “Thinking of it as a moist small shop in the rain seems to stimulate the imagination even more.”
In the photo shoot, Heeya wore a bright striped pattern bikini and a white hood zip-up, along with shocking design shorts that captured the early summer atmosphere.
Additionally, by using old-fashioned snacks, candies, and fly swatters as props that can actually be seen in a small shop, more realism was added.
During an interview, Heeya stated, “I imagined myself having to strip down for the sake of the shop’s sales, fearing that no one might come to such a secluded and shabby shop,” she revealed.
She added that her previous part-time job experience helped in this shoot.
“I transformed into a one-day small shop owner in the June issue of Maxim, and I hope many will love this new side of me with a spoonful of innocence,” Heeya said. She requested fans, “I hope many visit bookstores to sneak a peek at Heeya’s small shop.”
