Actress Jeon So-min shared her struggles with malicious comments.
On the 11th, Jeon So-min appeared on TV Chosun’s variety show ‘Dining with Heo Young-man’ and explored delicious eateries in Seoul Yongsan-gu with cartoonist Heo Young-man.
Jeon So-min, who was on the popular SBS variety show ‘Running Man’ for seven years, spoke about her opportunity to join by saying, “I was offered a regular spot after appearing as a guest twice.”
When cartoonist Heo commented, “You must have done a good job hosting,” Jeon So-min said, “The regular members handle the hosting, and since it’s a variety show, it has its unique characters. (In the variety show) I played games with my character, which was great.”
She continued, “It was a happy workplace for me.”
Jeon So-min also confessed about the hurt she felt due to malicious comments during her time on the show.
Jeon So-min shared, “The more attention you get, the more you get hurt,” adding, “Others might also receive many malicious comments, but if there was a reason behind them (for mine), I’d deeply think about it too, but I feel there isn’t any objective reason.”
She continued, “With such experiences, I realized I needed someone to rely on. I wanted to get married quickly and have someone I could depend on firmly,” revealing her thoughts on marriage.
Meanwhile, debuting as a magazine model, Jeon So-min appeared in dramas like ‘East of Eden’ and ‘Princess Aurora’.
Jeon So-min joined ‘Running Man’ in 2017 and left the show in 2023.
