The broadcaster Jung Hyung-don shared a story about how he met his wife, Han Yoo-ra.
On the broadcast of ENA Variety Show ‘I’ve Missed You with Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young’ on the 4th, Jung Hyung-don and math instructor Jung Seung-je appeared as guests and had a conversation with hosts Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young.
During the broadcast, Choi Hwa-jung asked Jung Hyung-don about how he first met his wife. To which Jung Seung-je playfully said, “He begged” and Jung Hyung-don confirmed by saying, “That’s right.”
Jung Hyung-don said, “At first glance, my wife has a blurry impression. It’s a bit like a sketch.” He continued, “We were working on the same program when she became the lead writer. As I kept seeing her, her impression became clearer,” sharing how he became interested in her.
When asked about when his wife responded to his feelings, Jung Hyung-don replied, “It didn’t come until the program ended. I think she was cautious since we were working on the same program.” He added, “During broadcast recordings, my lead writer would hold a sketchbook across from me. I gave a longing gaze to flirt.”
He then mentioned, “My wife said she disliked me the most during ‘Gag Concert’ because of my overweight appearance, long hair, and lack of self-management.”
When asked what changed his wife’s mind, Jung Hyung-don said, “Even when I think about it deeply, I don’t remember well since it was 16-17 years ago.”
Jung Hyung-don married Han Yoo-ra, a former TV writer, in 2009, and they have twin daughters. Han Yoo-ra and their twin daughters are currently staying in Hawaii, USA for education.
