In the second episode of JTBC’s variety show ‘Street Food Business’ aired on the 15th, Ryu Soo-young, Hwang Kwang-hee, Shin Hyun-ji, Bae In-hyuk, and Jeon So-mi were shown challenging Korean food sales at La Caleta Beach in Spain.
On this day, Hwang Kwang-hee briefly left the business site to run an errand for baguette bread but encountered racial mockery from a local passerby on the way. Unfamiliar with Spanish and tense, Hwang Kwang-hee ended up expressing anger, saying, “He’s mocking me too,” unable to hide his upset emotions as he uttered profanity.
Afterward, he returned with some difficulty carrying the materials, but upon hearing from Shin Hyun-ji about the closure due to the Cadiz parade, he could not hide his disappointed expression. Having completed his errands diligently yet unable to receive more customers left him speechless, evoking a sense of pity.
Meanwhile, on the broadcast, Ryu Soo-young’s gochujang pork belly rose to fame as a waiting-list favorite, thriving so much that a new frying pan had to be brought out within an hour of opening. On the other hand, Bae In-hyuk, who struggled with cooking chive pancakes, overcame his confusion with Hwang Kwang-hee’s help, displaying warm teamwork.
In particular, Hwang Kwang-hee served a Korean exchange student customer fluently in Korean, sharing a pleasant encounter. The customer also expressed gratitude, saying, “I usually enjoy following Ryu Soo-young’s recipes,” bringing smiles to the cast members.
‘Street Food Business’ is a reality variety show about the globalization of Korean food showcased on a food bike with no walls or roof, airing every Tuesday at 10:40 PM on JTBC.
