Set to air on JTBC in the second half of 2025, ‘Fly, Chick’ is a growth-driven project that distinguishes itself from traditional survival-based audition programs. It offers idol hopefuls who have missed debut opportunities another stage to showcase their dreams, capturing their 100-day journey toward debut with vivid depictions of their sweat and efforts.
While existing audition programs highlight fierce competition among participants, ‘Fly, Chick’ is a humanity-filled girl group growth project that helps contestants achieve true victory in their battle against themselves.
Focusing not on mere competition but on participants overcoming their limits and growing in the process, the show will feature idol hopefuls in their early to mid-20s, selected through separate public auditions.

They will undergo intense 8-week training to be selected as final debut members, starting their music activities with a showcase. WEDNESDAY Corporation, the production company, stated, “The program’s core is the two-month-long joint training session.”
In addition to the traditional vocal and dance training, character education, including a book reading program, is added to the curriculum to aid participants’ growth and maturity. Participants live in a communal living space with 24-hour observation, undertaking weekly missions and evaluations.
The results of the evaluations will determine whether participants will continue in the program, and they can also opt out voluntarily. Additionally, experienced K-pop artists and industry professionals will join as mentors to provide practical advice to the participants. K12 Company, the audition management company, has been conducting overseas private auditions since October 2024 and plans to start recruiting domestic participants in March 2025 to select the final nine program participants.
