Seominjae, a former participant of ‘Heart Signal 3’, who revealed her pregnancy, disclosed her conflict with her boyfriend A, who was pointed out as the father of her child. She appealed her injustice, stating, “I only tried to contact him for the child, but ended up being sued for stalking.”

7-month relationship, serious bond… Dramatic conflict started after pregnancy
Seominjae (renamed Seoeunwoo) revealed in an exclusive interview held on May 15 in Seocho-gu, Seoul, “After informing A about the pregnancy, communication was cut off. I inevitably had to reach out through SNS.”
The two dated for 7 months and were even considering marriage. A was reportedly close to Seominjae’s family, having attended her younger sister’s wedding. However, upon hearing the pregnancy news, A’s parents strongly expressed they would not register the child in the family registry, leading to a rapid cooling of communication.

“Not registering in the family registry” notice… Communication was cut off thereafter
At a meeting of both families at the end of April, A’s parents maintained, “Though not telling you to abort, we will not register in the family registry.” Seominjae expressed her psychological shock, saying, “It felt like they denied the mere existence of the child.”
On May 2, A texted saying, “My mom is angry too. I will no longer talk to you. I’ll take legal responsibility if the child is born,” marking the end of all communication.

Attempted to contact via SNS… Sued for stalking and defamation
In attempts to communicate, Seominjae visited A’s house and posted photos and texts on SNS to provoke conversations. However, A soon sued her under the Stalking Punishment Act, Information and Communications Network Act (defamation), confinement, and assault.
A’s side refuted, stating “We continued conversations with Seominjae even after pregnancy,” and claimed, “She honked for 5 minutes in front of our house and acted violently.” Law Firm Roel announced legal action, citing “exposure of sensitive information like workplace and address on SNS.”
“Just wanted a conversation for the child… Had no intention to attack”
Seominjae explained, “There was no financial demand or pressure for marriage. I only wanted a communication channel to share the child’s status, such as hospital visits,” expressing her sense of betrayal from someone she trusted.
Additionally, she expressed discomfort, saying, “My lawyer used the probationary period to psychologically pressure me,” noting, “This matter and drug charges are entirely separate, yet it felt like they were threatening me.” Seominjae had a previous record of receiving a 10-month imprisonment, suspended for 2 years, in January last year for drug use.

“It wasn’t an extreme method… I just wanted to talk”
“With no contact available, there was no alternative but to use SNS,” Seominjae admitted, “I didn’t want to disclose from the start, and I even tried persuading through parents, but what was returned was a lawsuit,” revealing her bitterness.
Finally, she sent a desperate message to A, stating, “Responsibility for the child is not just about money, but also involves emotional responsibility and human conversation. I hope to at least have minimal dialogue.”
She concluded the interview, expressing, “For the sake of the child, I want to resolve this amicably. This is my sincere wish.”
