Kim Dong-wan (45), a member of the group Shinhwa and an actor, revealed his unique marriage conditions.

The MBC entertainment show ‘Radio Star’ aired on the 27th featured actor Kim Dong-wan, Kim Eung-soo, Koyote’s Bbaek Ga, and musical actor Kim Ho-young as guests, under the special theme of ‘K-Ahjae Hit Hunters’.

In the broadcast, Kim Dong-wan shared, “I still live in Gapyeong and am working alone without a manager,” updating on his recent status.

He then expressed his desire to get married, stating, “I’ve never said I’m against marriage, but people think I’m an unmarried person. I’m actually for marriage,” he emphasized.

Kim Dong-wan, in response to being one of the remaining single Shinhwa members feeling rushed, said, “It’s too late to say I’m in a hurry. I do want to get married, but I don’t know when that will be.”

Shinhwa members Eric, Jun Jin, and Andy got married years ago, and recently, Lee Min-woo also announced his marriage.

Kim Dong-wan also made the MCs gasp by revealing his picky marriage conditions.

He stated that he prefers apartments built around 20 years ago, from 1997 to 2008, because he can’t move into newly built apartments due to his allergies.

Kim Dong-wan also said he doesn’t want a wedding ceremony. He stated, “I think Western-made culture is unnecessary. I want to spend that cost on my wife or family.” He added, “I don’t want to do a small wedding or traditional ceremony because it costs a lot. Isn’t it enough to just put out a bowl of water?” which caught attention.

Gura Kim, upon hearing this, pointed out, “If you say, ‘I won’t do a wedding at all,’ which woman would come?” Do-yeon Jang asked, “What if your partner insists on having a wedding?”

In response, Kim Dong-wan adamantly answered, “I want to hold out and not do it.” He further emphasized, “I want to show this. I don’t want to have a wedding.”
