Yang Chi-seung invites his best friends, actor Choi Kang-hee, actor Sung Hoon, and comedian Heo Kyung-hwan, who have always been a source of strength during difficult times, to his gym in Gangnam. Yang Chi-seung reveals a story about being edited out from the recent Netflix hit ‘Black Chef’ and gathers anticipation by preparing the dish he showcased at that time.
In this broadcast, Yang Chi-seung confesses about the real estate lawsuit with his gym’s landlord. “The number of members at my gym is decreasing, and the situation isn’t good. I haven’t told my family. There’s no need for them to suffer if I’m the only one having a tough time,” he expresses his heavy responsibility as the head of the family despite the challenging circumstances.
Yang Chi-seung continues by sharing a touching story about how his children realized the situation after watching the show and added, “They didn’t turn on the air conditioning even in the hot summer to save on electricity bills,” as he tears up. Nevertheless, he updates on his current status by saying, “Initially, visiting the lawyer’s office was daunting, but now it feels familiar,” showing his positive outlook despite the hardships.
The life stories of best friends further add intrigue. Choi Kang-hee reveals the special connection she made with Director Yang Chi-seung while working a dishwashing part-time job during her practical retirement and hiatus three years ago. “Three years ago, I fell into a rut. Acting was difficult, and so were personal relationships. I felt that this job didn’t make me happy,” she explains her reasons for quitting acting. Choi Kang-hee shares how she found healing and fun in simple labor jobs like dishwashing and cleaning during her break, and how she came to start broadcasting again with a calm mind.
Meanwhile, the special friendship between Yang Chi-seung and Sung Hoon is also highlighted. When Yang Chi-seung’s mother passed away in 2022, Sung Hoon stayed by his side at the funeral for three days, showcasing Sung Hoon’s tsundere nature. “Sung Hoon touched my heart by visiting me at 11:50 PM on my birthday to give me a birthday present,” Yang Chi-seung shares, creating a warm atmosphere.
