[Seoul=RNX News] Hyun-Chae Hun reporter = KBS ‘2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’ will be held in Tokyo, Japan this December.
KBS successfully led overseas performances of K-POP, starting with the ‘K-POP Festival Music Bank in Tokyo’ at the Tokyo Dome in 2011, and has maintained its legacy for 15 years.
Through the ‘Music Bank World Tour’, they have met 378,000 K-POP fans around the world, traveling to Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Belgium, Madrid, Lisbon, and more.
Among this, ‘2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’ is expected to conclude this year’s Music Bank World Tour.
The ‘2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’ will take place at the Tokyo National Stadium on December 13th and 14th. This global festival, under the theme ‘Golden Road’, will capture K-POP’s journey so far.
It is hoped that this will be a meaningful time to revisit the paths K-POP has taken to become a culture that the whole world is excited about, beyond Japan, the center of the Hallyu wave.
In particular, the ‘2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’ will feature top K-POP artists who have brilliantly illuminated K-POP’s ‘Golden Road’, putting on an unprecedented performance.
On the first day of the concert, the lineup includes ATEEZ, ITZY, Tomorrow X Together, ENHYPEN, NMIXX, BOYNEXTDOOR, RIIZE, I-Land, Kickflip, Hats to Harts, and IID.
Following on the 14th, artists including U-Know Yunho, Stray Kids, NiziU, IVE, &TEAM, xikers, ZEROBASEONE, Tours, NCT WISH, NEXTG, IZNA, Kiki, and Kortis will perform, keeping the energy high.
U-Know Yunho, the first K-POP artist to perform at Japan’s Nissan Stadium, the group Stray Kids, who reached number one on the ‘Billboard 200’ with every album they released, ATEEZ, the first Korean boy group to perform at Coachella,
Tomorrow X Together, who excelled at the largest music festival in the US, Lollapalooza Chicago, for two consecutive years, and the group IVE, who proved themselves as performance idols at various global music festivals, are all to hit the stage, recognized as stage masters worldwide.
There is growing anticipation for the performances of the top K-POP artists set to take place at the ‘2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’.
In particular, the Tokyo National Stadium, the venue for this event, is a massive venue where the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were held, and this marks the first K-POP concert to be held here.
As it is a place where 60,000 people can interact, there is rising excitement over what special stages will thrill global fans.
Meanwhile, the ‘2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan’ will be broadcast on KBS 2TV on December 30th (Tue) at 8:30 PM.
