
[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Kim Yea-eun = The ‘2025 Korea-Japan Singers’ Concert’ ended successfully, starting in Seoul and then moving to Daegu and Gwangju.
The Gwangju concert, held at Kimdaejung Convention Center on November 30th, successfully concluded the 2025 ‘Korea-Japan Singers’ Concert’. The tour, which began in Seoul, continued to Daegu and Gwangju, presenting passionate performances and showcasing the synergy of Korean-Japanese trot music.
The concert featured live versions of the broadcast competition stages. Special stages exclusive to the concert and reinterpretations of famous songs from both countries were added, offering a unique experience of both Korean and Japanese musical colors in one place.
The performers filled the venue with songs rich in Korean sentiments, including Park Seo-jin’s ‘Set Sail’, ‘Folk Song’, Jin Hae-sung’s ‘Very’, Shin Seung-tae’s ‘Nocturne’, and Kim Junsu’s ‘Royal Inspector Arrival’.
The concert also showcased reinterpreted performances of Japanese songs like Jin Hae-sung’s ‘Camellia Inn’, ‘Flowing River’, and Choi Su-ho’s ‘Erotica Seven’, leaving a deep impression on the audience with sensitive interpretations that maximized the resonance of the songs.
Additionally, stages featuring Korean classics reborn in the style of Japanese performers such as Masaya’s ‘Those Old Days’, Juni’s ‘Thinking of You’, ’10 Minutes’, Shin’s ‘Every Moment of Every Day’, and ‘My Love Next to Me’ were presented. The audience gave enthusiastic responses, transcending national boundaries to enjoy the stage together.
In particular, the duet stages were the highlight of this concert. Duets such as Jin Hae-sung & Takuya’s ‘Only You’, Choi Su-ho & Juni’s ‘You in A Blurry Memory’, and Shin Seung-tae & Shu performing ‘Snow Flower’ received great applause for their perfect harmony and emotions, regardless of nationality.
With the completion of performances in all three cities, the performers from both countries sincerely thanked the many audience members who attended the concert. The audience expressed their expectations for future activities with generous applause.
