The global K-drama festival ‘2024 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards’ is expanding worldwide.
The ‘2024 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards’ (hosted by the Korea Entertainment Management Association, organized by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency and the Korea Entertainment Management Association, and Guardians Company) to be held on December 28, will broadcast the K-drama fever from Asia to Europe through global live streaming.
This global live streaming is an online project co-organized by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and Guardians Company.
The ‘2024 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards’ plans to include live streaming for numerous global fans who cannot attend in person, creating a K-drama festival that everyone can enjoy together.
The global live streaming will be conducted through the entertainment technology startup BIGC.
BIGC has been responsible for live streaming for major domestic broadcasters like MBC, SBS, and CJ ENM and top domestic entertainment companies.
BIGC will broadcast the awards ceremony exclusively, vividly conveying the excitement of the event to global fans.
The global live streaming will be available in over 200 countries, including Japan, China, Indonesia, Thailand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
Subtitles will also be provided for numerous global K-drama fans enjoying online.
Thus, the ‘2024 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards’ will be broadcasted worldwide through TV live broadcasting on domestic cable channel tvN and global live streaming via BIGC.
This environment firmly establishes the identity of a global K-drama awards ceremony that transcends nationality and generation and is expected to further elevate the prestige of the ‘APAN Star Awards’, which has been ongoing for 10 years.
The ‘APAN Star Awards’ is the only unified drama award ceremony in South Korea.
It covers all domestic drama contents, including terrestrial, general, cable, OTT, and web dramas.
Particularly this year, with an abundance of works that received passionate love from K-drama fans, there is great curiosity about which actors and works will be honored at the ‘APAN Star Awards’.
Meanwhile, celebrating its 10th anniversary, the ‘2024 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards’ will be held on December 28 at the DDP Art Hall 1 in Seoul and will be broadcast live through tvN and BIGC.
