After completing a mission, the ‘1 Night 2 Days’ team, on their way to a lunch spot about 7 km away, were stuck in unexpected traffic, arriving at the restaurant after 3 hours and 40 minutes.

The ‘Bicycle Dynamic Vision’ game commenced immediately, and Lee Joon, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho won, claiming the main lunch menu of Chogye noodles.

After lunch, the ‘1 Night 2 Days’ team headed to a sauna. A quiz based on fairy tale content was held in the hot steam room, and the production team announced that this game would not only decide the dinner but also determine the first same-day departure winner, raising the members’ focus.

Among the six members sweating it out in the steam room and burning with determination to leave, DinDin was the first confirmed as the same-day departure winner. DinDin indulged in the delight of same-day departure by gifting sikhye to all members, as well as the staff who endured together in the steam room.

After enjoying dinner with Moon Se-yoon and Jo Se-ho, who won the dinner competition, DinDin said goodbye to the members and did not move to Yeouido but headed straight home. Other members envied DinDin and headed to KBS for the final round with the last opportunity for same-day departure at stake.

At KBS, the five members decided on two additional same-day departure members with ‘The Dice of Fate’ on a life-sized game board.

As the outcome of each dice roll greatly shifted the race, the members could not mask their anxiety, some even praying desperately for same-day departure with folded hands and bowed heads.

In the ‘Dice of Fate’ game, which saw mixed fortunes, Moon Se-yoon and Lee Joon were confirmed for same-day departure, heading home, while the remaining Kim Jong-min, Jo Se-ho, and Yoo Seon-ho moved inside the KBS building for the punishment ‘Dreadful Night.’

The last chance for a same-day departure was given to the three weary individuals, and the final same-day departure winner was determined by a KBS entry badge game.

The same-day departure ticket was the entry badge chosen by Jo Se-ho, and, with his departure dramatically confirmed, Jo Se-ho was overwhelmed with emotion and knelt in tears.

Kim Jong-min and Yoo Seon-ho, watching Jo Se-ho successfully depart before midnight with bittersweet looks, moved to the ‘1 Night 2 Days’ production team’s editing room for their ‘Dreadful Night’ sleep. Both spent a long night sleeping in separate editing rooms.

The next morning, a plate of mysterious dumplings and a mission card were delivered to the editing room where Kim Jong-min and Yoo Seon-ho were sleeping. The card stated, “When the plate is collected in 5 minutes, if there are a total of 3 dumplings left by the two, they can immediately leave.”

Still groggy, Kim Jong-min and Yoo Seon-ho began eating the dumplings with vacant expressions like in the movie ‘Oldboy.’ After 5 minutes, the result checked on their plates showed they precisely left 3 dumplings in just one attempt, achieving immediate departure.

The ‘1 Night 2 Days’ same-day departure special, returning after a long time, elevated the members’ dopamine levels and delivered a thrilling excitement to the viewers.

This special, which showcased the charm of ‘1 Night 2 Days’ randomness, left audiences curious about what comedic stories the six members will create in their next adventure.
