[Seoul=RNX News] Reporter Hyunjae Hoon = Singer 10CM has returned with their 5th full-length album after 7 years and 11 months.
10CM released their 5th full-length album ‘5.0’ on the 30th, garnering the interest of music fans. The album embodies 10CM’s unique sentiment that blends into everyday life, just like the keyword ‘music like a convenience store’, and has been receiving praise for its high-quality tracks.
The album artwork, which encapsulates the theme that the sweetness of a piece of lemon cake brings small happiness to our daily lives, is also connected to the ‘music like a convenience store’ concept, making the concept and message of the album that 10CM aims for even clearer.
10CM included a total of 12 songs in their 5th full-length album ‘5.0’, including the pre-released track ‘Dance (Feat. BIBI)’, which received attention for their collaboration with BIBI, capturing their long musical journey.

Especially, the title track ‘Love is Six Strings’ captures a confession and the emptiness at the end with rock sound, while ‘Monday Is Coming (Feat. BIG Naughty)’, which portrays the daunting feeling and reality of an approaching Monday with 10CM’s unique wit and emotion, are tracks that prominently deliver the message of this album.
Additionally, collaborations with talented artists such as BIG Naughty, Young K, Woojuhippie, Go Young-bae, and Lee Ji-hyung have proven a broadened musical spectrum.
10CM released the music video for the title track ‘Love is Six Strings’ alongside the album release and will unveil a music video encompassing the entire album, approximately 47 minutes in length, on August 1st. The music video is expected to attract attention as it offers diverse visuals with different stories and compositions for each track.
Meanwhile, 10CM is set to hold a solo concert ‘5.0’ on August 9th and 10th at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul and will present live performances of various tracks from their 5th full-length album. [Photo = CAM provided]
