nCH Entertainment has announced its position regarding the ongoing legal dispute with CREA Studio over the MBN ‘Legend Singer 2’ nationwide tour concert.
On the 25th, nCH Entertainment released an official statement saying, “We signed a contract with CREA Studio (CEO Seo Hye-jin), the production company of ‘Legend Singer 2’, for the concert and management business in March 2024,” adding, “Currently, a lawsuit for contract validity confirmation is underway, and since the court has not yet ruled, the business rights to the ‘Legend Singer 2’ concert also belong to us.”
nCH Entertainment pointed out that “CREA made an exclusive concert business contract with another entertainment company in October 2024, persistently selling tickets for concerts across various regions, including Seoul, even as the court has not yet made a ruling,” and accused CREA of “breaching the contract by signing double contracts and pushing ahead with unauthorized concerts.” They further stated, “We have filed criminal charges against CREA Studio CEO Seo Hye-jin for obstruction of business and violation of the Specific Economic Crimes Aggravated Punishment Act for causing 7.8 billion in concert damage sales,” adding that “police investigations are currently underway,” emphasizing their intent to take legal actions such as provisional seizure to disclose unfair practices. However, CREA has proceeded with a concert business contract with another entertainment company in October 2024, selling concert tickets in various regions, including Seoul. Signing double contracts and proceeding with concerts despite the ongoing court case and no conclusion violates the contract and mocks the law. nCH actively supported CREA, helping ‘Legend Singer 1’ participants promote in Japan.
Also, we supported CREA as CEO Seo Hye-jin requested persistent help in making the Korea-Japan National Representative Team ‘Korea-Japan Singer Battle’ a reality, resulting in members produced by ‘Trot Girls Japan’ in Japan appearing in ‘Korea-Japan Singer Battle’ through efforts over three years. Despite this, CREA abruptly notified the termination of our contract, unilaterally breaking the contract concluded through mutual agreement, and ignored legal procedures.
CREA’s operational methods have resulted in countless victims in Korea and Japan, causing growing damage. Accordingly, nCH has filed criminal charges against CREA Studio CEO Seo Hye-jin for obstruction of business and violation due to double contracts.
