A fact-finding committee has been formed regarding the suspicions surrounding the late MBC weathercaster, Oh Yoanna, who passed away last September. On the 3rd, MBC announced, “Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation has decided to establish a fact-finding committee on January 31st to verify the facts regarding the suspicions surrounding the deceased. The selection and formation of the committee were completed between last weekend and the holidays.” The chairman of the fact-finding committee is Attorney Chae Yang-hee from Law Firm Hyemyeong, and Attorney Chung In-jin from Law Firm Barun has been appointed as an external member.” It continued, “We wish the late Oh Yoanna weathercaster peace. We also extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.” The fact-finding committee plans to start the investigation with its first meeting on February 5th (Wednesday) to verify the facts regarding the suspicions surrounding the deceased and aims to complete the investigation as quickly as possible,” it added.
