[Star Daily News=Nana Kim Reporter] I Ho-cheol, a Kyokushin Karate instructor known as “Clay Pot Master,” and Song Min-jae, the CEO of the Yeongnam region dining franchise ‘Manjaene,’ will compete in a stand-up striking match.
The ‘KMMADaegu26’ will be held at the KMMA Popeye Arena in Jung-gu, Daegu, on January 11th, starting at 10 AM. This event will be broadcast live not only on the KMMA official YouTube channel but also on the YouTube channel ‘Chador’ with 856k subscribers and ‘Director Yang TV’ with 559k subscribers.
KMMA is an organization created in 2022 by UFC commentator Kim Dae-hwan and former UFC commentator Jeong Yong-jun. They hold monthly competitions believing that Korean athletes can succeed among overseas strong contenders after accumulating 30~40 amateur records.

Song Min-jae, the CEO of the Samgyeopsal Franchise ‘Manjaene,’ holds an amateur MMA record of 2 wins and 3 losses. Both will be wearing headgear in the KMMADaegu26 Main Event, which will be held under KMMA Novice Kickboxing rules.
I Ho-cheol, who made his name known by participating in Black Combat 1 and 2 consecutively in February and June 2022, boosted the mood by jokingly provoking Song Min-jae, saying, “If I win, give me one of Manjaene’s locations.”
