Child actor Ki So-yoo attempts another acting transformation through the new work ‘Invasion.’ ‘Invasion’ is a psychological thriller depicting the cracks that occur as Yeong-eun (Gwak Sun-young), whose daily life is collapsing due to her daughter So-hyun’s bizarre behavior, and Min (Kwon Yu-ri), who lost memories of the past 20 years later, face off with Hae-young (Lee Seol). In the drama, Ki So-yoo plays So-hyun, a child who behaves differently from her peers.
So-hyun does not understand her mother, who gets angry at her, even when her pet dog dies or she is just playing jokes with her friends.
She feels fear while watching her mother feel anxious the more she does what she wants to do.
In the stills released that day, So-hyun captivates attention with her contrasting appearance, smiling brightly at the chickens in the coop while staring intensely with sharp eyes.
Especially the appearance of her wearing an apron with blood-stained gloves, and her expressionless face raises curiosity about what happened to her.
Ki So-yoo, who has moved the hearts of fans with her affectionate and lovely charm through numerous works such as Go Doo-shim’s granddaughter in the drama ‘Our Blues’ and Lee Joon-hyuk’s daughter in ‘My Perfect Secretary,’ is expected to enhance the dramatic fun with her powerful acting comparable to that of adult actors in ‘Invasion.’
