1 Night 2 Days’ Jo Se-ho paid off his debt to DinDin! Voluntarily gives up indoor sleeping, “I’ll sleep outside.”

On the broadcast of KBS 2TV’s entertainment program ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’ (hereafter ‘2 Days & 1 Night’) on the 28th, the second story of the six members’ ‘Money War’ unfolded in Uiryeong County, Gyeongsangnam-do. It recorded a 7.4% viewership rating (based on nationwide Nielsen Korea), ranking first in the same time slot.

The scene where the members, who succeeded in the wake-up mission, headed to the restaurant after hearing they nearly had to hike if they failed, had the highest viewership rating soaring to 10.3%

At Hanwoo Mountain in Uiryeong, the Kim Moon-chul team (Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yun, DinDin) and the Ho-jun-ho team (Jo Se-ho, Lee Jun, Yoo Seon-ho) competed in the ‘Who Ate the Mugwort Rice Cake’ mission, wagering 10 coins.

While the Kim Moon-chul team failed to identify the member who actually ate the mugwort rice cake from the opposing team, the Ho-jun-ho team succeeded in both attack and defense with seamless acting and sharp deduction, earning an additional 10 coins.

After completing the outdoor mission, the six members arrived at the base camp and took a break before the next mission. However, Yoo Seon-ho, who was called out by the production team during the break, underwent military-style training unknowingly and returned to the accommodation.

Detecting something unusual, Moon Se-yun and Jo Se-ho noticed the ‘Habits of the Rich’ phrases stuck on the wall, realizing they would face a penalty for breaking even one of them.

Kim Jong-min, Lee Jun, and DinDin, who were unaware of this hidden mission, were also subjected to the same penalty as Yoo Seon-ho and reflected on the habits of the rich with their whole bodies.

Before the final mission, which was an individual competition, the two teams divided the coins earned through the day’s missions. Following this, the members engaged in coin multiplication freely within a 30-minute time limit, moving between onion rooms, gold lottery rooms, and silver lottery rooms.

Kim Jong-min and Yoo Seon-ho managed to double their coins through consecutive lottery winnings, whereas DinDin faced bankruptcy after consecutive misses. As other members aimed for a big win, Lee Jun diligently peeled onions, steadily gathering coins.

After all the coin missions were completed, it was time to enjoy a top-notch luxury dinner cooked with Uiryeong’s specialties. With 13 courses in total, members had to participate in an auction with their coins to secure the dishes they desired.

Though luxurious dishes appeared from the first course, Lee Jun and Yoo Seon-ho, who had amassed sufficient coins, successfully won lavish menus and enjoyed a hearty dinner.

On the other hand, the hidden menu, which Jo Se-ho and Kim Jong-min boldly bet on, turned out to be a protein shake and radish sushi, bringing laughter.

Meanwhile, Moon Se-yun, who had previously ended up with durian in every dinner auction, this time won charcoal-grilled pork instead and was deeply touched as he indulged in his meal.

Following the dinner, the ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ team conducted the bedding luck-of-the-draw game ‘Elusive Goblin’s Club’. As the darkness continued, the members kept the game going amidst suffocating tension.

In the end, Kim Jong-min, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho were confirmed for outdoor sleeping, but Jo Se-ho offered to sleep outside instead of DinDin, who had covered for him during a previous trip due to surgery, saying, “I’ll sleep outside today.” Thus, the six members began their sleep at 12:30 AM.

The next morning at 7:10 AM, a message was sent to the sleeping members’ phones: “Anyone who has woken up, please quietly step outside.”

However, none of the members checked the message, and even after the production team sent the same message twice more, no one woke up.

In reality, the wake-up mission planned by the production team was a kind of trap using the ‘Habits of the Rich,’ which includes ‘The wealthy get more than 7 hours of sleep.’ If a member had read the messages and stepped outside before 7:30 AM, they would have had to climb Hanwoo Mountain as a penalty.

Eventually, after 7:30 AM, the production team woke the members, announcing “You’ve successfully completed the mission.”

The six members, not fully awake and surprised at having completed a mission while just sleeping, finished their Uiryeong trip happily with beef soup for breakfast.

During the trip to ‘The First District of the Wealthy’ Uiryeong, the members engaged in a delightful yet fierce ‘War of Money.’

Especially with the dinner auction and the wake-up mission that did not unfold as the production team had intended, the viewers were provided with all the more realistic and unexpected twists throughout.
